yooooo. I’m Jason Almeida — a Cape Verdean-American creative director, dj + multimedia & event producer from Providence, RI.

I have done most of my dj + music-related work as WHERE’S NASTY.

I co-founded stay silent, a creative company that focuses on producing events, content, design, marketing, and products.

Notable projects of stay silent include owning and operating Crib — a multi-genre music venue and nightclub, producing the DAY TRILL festival and party series including LUV U BETTER, HOOKAH KILLED THE DANCE FLOOR, LODI DODI, LATCHKEY, among others.

I also co-founded Trade — a non-profit art and creative entrepreneurship organization + gallery/retail space in Providence.

I’ve been able to work with brands + institutions such as Bodega, Converse, Brown University, Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), New York University (NYU), the TNTH (producers of Henny + D’usse Palooza), Brunch Bounce, ‘47 Brand, 40oz NYC, Red Bull, Spotify, Pow!Wow! and the City of Providence’s Art and City Life Commission.
